What are Dermal Fillers?
Dermal Fillers are a treatment administered by injection to target a number of concerns including deep lines and wrinkles and lack of volume and definition in the lips. Fillers are one of the most popular skin treatments for both Men and Women looking to improve skin concerns without the cost, pain and recovery time involved with plastic surgery.
What areas can be treated?
During your consultation we can look at what it is you want to achieve and the areas you would like to target. Some of the most popular areas to treat include the forehead, lips, cheeks and around the mouth but filler can produce great results in a variety of areas around the face including the nose, chin, and neck.
What Fillers do you use?
We use Juvérderm, one of the most widely used and trusted products on the market. Unlike synthetic alternatives Juvéderm is based on a natural substance called hyaluronic acid which is a non animal, biodegradable product producing safe, reliable, natural looking results.
How long does Juvéderm last?
Juvéderm is a biodegradable product which is designed to gradually dissolve. There are a variety of different factors which can affect how long the product lasts before this process begins including, skin type, external factors and the location of the filler in the face. To ensure the best results, we tend to recommend treatment intervals at every 6 months.
What is the aftercare following treatment
Recovery from Filler treatment is quick however we still provide you with an aftercare plan to keep swelling and bruising to a minimum. This includes, advising you of things to avoid after the treatment e.g blood thinning substances, suggesting skincare and cosmetic products following the treatment such as mild facial cleansers and mineral based makeup products and taking you through what to do if swelling or bruising does occur.
How much does treatment cost
Currently there is a trend for pop up Filler treatments being offered at low prices. This is often achieved by the use of low quality Filler products being used which can lead to disappointing results. Our Filler treatment starts at £425 for 1ML and goes up to £975 for 3ML, these prices are set at the recommended retail price, if the price seems too good to be true, you should do some research into the products being used.
Can anyone get Dermal Fillers
There are very few circumstances which would make you not suitable for treatment. As part of our 7 step approach, we will go through your medical history before creating your treatment plan, this ensures we eliminate any of the factors which would prevent you from having treatment and, if necessary, recommend alternatives. At our clinic we would not administer Dermal Fillers to anyone who is pregnant or currently breastfeeding but we can still meet to discuss products which are safe for you to use during this time and put together a treatment plan to implement when you are ready for treatment.
Can my nose be treated with Filler?
Yes, we offer a non-surgical Rhinoplasty treatment, in most cases we use just 1ML of filler and the results completely transform the side profile lasting from 6 – 12 months. Can I get my Filler removed if I don’t like the results.
We offer a treatment called Hyalase, if you are unhappy with the results you can come straight back to the clinic and meet with the injector who did the treatment to put a plan in place to get you the results you wanted.
