Micro Skin Needling
Medical skin needling has been well established at Epsom Skin Clinics for some time offering great results in the treatment for acne scarring, fine lines and wrinkles, sun damaged skin and stretch marks. The introduction of the new eDermastamp gives our Aesthetic Therapists a new tool to effectively treat your conditions whilst achieving better results than ever before. eDermastamp uses patented automated micro-needling technology to induce the replication of your skin stem cells and stimulate your collagen production, coupled with a one-of-a-kind driver reservoir for administering approved skincare drugs during your micro-needling treatment.
Unique to this product is the patented eDermastamp Driver Reservoir. With this reservoir, Genuine Dermaroller CIT Solution which can be tailored to each individual client using hyaluronic acid, minerals, vitamins, and peptides can be applied in a steady flowing stream during your treatment. The continuous delivery method guarantees your skin receives the right amount of solution with each treatment. Our Aesthetic therapist simply injects the CIT Solution into the reservoir before starting each procedure.
How does it work?
The eDermastamp penetrates your skin with thousands of microscopic needle columns, which encourages the skin’s natural repair process. As your skin regenerates, new collagen and skin cells are formed and blood supply is enhanced.
Does it hurt?
Even though eDermastamp will be penetrating your skin more times than a Genuine Dermaroller, clients have expressed that it is less painful due to the speed at which the microscopic needles move at.
How many eDermastamp treatments do I need?
Although most clients report looking fresher and rested after a few days following treatment, it can take up to 6 weeks before visible signs of regeneration and repair are seen. The process will continue over the following months, providing you with a natural and long lasting enhancement. Your practitioner will normally recommend a series of 3 – 4 treatments with approximately 6 weeks between them. In treatment of acne scars and other types of scarring it may be necessary to extend your Dermaroller Therapy.
What should I expect immediately post eDermastamp treatment?
Immediately after your Dermaroller Therapy procedure you will look as though you have mild to moderate sunburn and your skin may feel warm and tighter than usual. This will subside after 3 - 4 hours with only slight redness the next day. Your practitioner will apply Chiroxy Cream immediately after the procedure and you should continue to use this cream until the redness has cleared. SPF50 is advised immediately after the procedure and should be continued throughout your treatment course. It is recommended that makeup should not be applied for 12 hours after the procedure and tepid water should be used to cleanse the face for the 48 hours following the procedure.
How long does the eDermastamp treatment take?
Treatment times vary for each area, 30 minutes for a face and up to 60 minutes for face, neck and décolletage or stretch mark treatment. A topical anaesthetic is applied 30 minutes before the treatment time.
