About Dr Roisin
Dr Roisin McHugh qualified from St Mary’s Hospital Medical School, Imperial College London in 1998, with BSc MB BS. She then did vocational GP training in Derry, gaining MRCGP and Diplomas in Child Health, Care of the Elderly, Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Family Planning.
Following this, she worked in Townsville, Queensland Australia from 2002. In Australia, Dr McHugh developed an interest in Dermatology due to the increased number of skin lesions including skin cancers she was seeing in her GP clinic. This led her to train in minor surgery.
Dr McHugh consolidated her Dermatology knowledge by completing the Cardiff Diploma in Practical dermatology in 2006, this led to further extensive training in aesthetics.
She has been working in Surrey since 2005 as an NHS GP. She joined Epsom Skin Clinics in 2012. She has a special interest in the menopause, in particular how that relates to the skin problems that women going through perimenopause/ menopause experience. Dr McHugh provides a patient centred holistic approach to skin care and injectables leading to subtle enhancements to achieve a natural result.
