Milia are small, bump-like cysts found under the skin. They are usually 1 to 2 millimeters (mm) in size.
What Causes them?
They form when skin keratin, a protein, becomes trapped under the skin.
Do I need treatment?
Sometimes they can disappear on their own, however mostly they will need to be gently removed by one of our experienced therapists.
Will I need further treatment?
Milia can reappear and it may be necessary to repeat the treatment at a later date.
